Chinese Tattoo Artist in Salt Lake City, Utah
My tattoo journey started in China, in studios where every piece was a conversation before it was ever a design.
Now in Salt Lake City, I bring that same intention to Japanese traditional, Chinese neo-traditional, and fine line floral work.

About Me
My tattoo journey started in China, where I completed a formal apprenticeship and was introduced to something I didn't expect — the discipline, history, and cultural depth that traditional tattooing is built on. That foundation changed how I see the craft entirely.
I've been tattooing for over five years, specializing in Japanese traditional and Chinese neo-traditional work. But I've never stopped learning. Every year I return to China to study alongside established artists, where I continue to explore everything from color realism to full traditional work. These trips aren't just research. They keep me connected to the living tradition behind the imagery I bring to every piece.
My approach is simple: respect the history, honor the person. Every tattoo I make is designed with intention that is rooted in cultural craft, shaped around your story. I'm based in Midvale, Utah, and I'd love to hear what you're thinking.

How to Book
Let's start your next tattoo together
I'm currently tattooing at Nowhere Tattoo in Midvale, Utah, a clean and professional studio I've been part of since 2024, working alongside a team of seven artists I genuinely respect.
Step 1: Start with a free consultation
Reach out by text or email to get the conversation started. This is where we talk through your idea, references, placement, and any symbolism you want to incorporate. No pressure, no commitment, just a real conversation about what you're envisioning.
Step 2: Secure your spot
Once we've aligned on the design direction, a $100 deposit is required to hold your appointment. This goes toward your final session cost.
A few things to know:
-
The deposit is non-refundable once design has begun
-
Cancellations require at least 48 hours notice to reschedule
-
Late cancellations or no-shows forfeit the deposit
Step 3: Come in and Trust
Show up, get comfortable, and trust the process. Every piece is designed specifically for you, built from the conversation we had. I don't typically share design previews beforehand; I prefer to walk you through it together in person on the day of your appointment, with room for minor adjustments before we begin.
Text or email or leave me a contact below to get started — I'll get back to you within 48 hours.

My Inspirations
Japanese Traditional "Irezumi"
Japanese traditional tattooing is a style I deeply enjoy working in. What draws me to it most is the balance between bold imagery and thoughtful composition, where every element serves a purpose and carries its own story.
I’m especially interested in larger projects that allow space for narrative and flow. Designs can be created with or without traditional wind bar backgrounds, depending on the direction of the piece. Throughout the process, I pay close attention to seasonality, motif pairing, and stylistic accuracy, honoring the structure and discipline of the tradition while tailoring each tattoo to the individual.
For larger projects, an in-person consultation and fitting session is required prior to booking.

Chinese Neotraditional Style
Chinese neo-traditional tattooing allows me to reinterpret classical imagery through a contemporary lens. I enjoy working with motifs drawn from folklore, mythology, and traditional painting—such as animals, florals, and symbolic figures—while exploring modern composition, color, and movement.
This style is ideal for clients who appreciate cultural depth but want flexibility in design, scale, and personal expression.

Tattoo Education & Consultation
Tattooing is more than imagery: it’s culture, history, and intention. Through consultation sessions, I help clients deepen their understanding of tattoo traditions while shaping designs that feel informed and personal.
Alongside my studio work, I run a blog and female artist community in China dedicated to sharing knowledge, supporting artists, and preserving cultural context within tattooing.
